Driver Feedback™ Instructor Ed app for iPhone and iPad

State Farm® created Driver Feedback™ Instructor Edition (DFIE) with driver education instructors (and parent instructors) in mind. DFIE helps driver education instructors accurately evaluate, record, organize, and monitor the progress of their students’ driving behaviors during behind-the-wheel instructional sessions. This app will aid instructors in identifying specific areas for students improvement. Better drivers contribute to making the roads safe for everyone.

Tip: Easily organize and keep track of multiple students in various driving classes by creating groups.

NOTE: State Farm does not collect the trip information. The data recorded by this app will not impact insurance rates.

Features
DFIE works in much of the same way as the State Farm® Driver Feedback™ app students use, including:
• Recording trips using your phone’s accelerometer to measure and score three aspects of driving behaviors: Accelerating, Braking and Cornering.
• Automatically tagging alerts, such as a sudden stop, swerve or rapid acceleration.
• Capturing speed throughout the trip.

DFIE also allows Instructors to:
• Organize driver data
• Create and manage driver groups
• Share reports via SMS or email
• Tag an event such as when driver stops in the crosswalk
